For all abilities including beginners. A class of three hours with all materials supplied.
In just three hours we will cover a lot! Starting with a touch of theory, we will quickly move on to some essential drawing skills before learning how to mix every colour needed. We then build up landscape paintings stage by stage. Participants work at their own pace from individually selected reference photos or are welcome to bring in their own. It’s a busy session but never rushed and you will be supported every step of the way. I’ve never yet had anyone not finish a landscape in the time, even complete beginners!

A calm and welcoming atmosphere
We were delighted to host our first three-hour acrylic landscape workshop with Richard. He created a calm and welcoming atmosphere throughout, offering gentle encouragement while sharing his evident expertise.
All of our participants thoroughly enjoyed the session, with one guest perfectly summing it up: “What a lovely, patient man Richard is! I wish my art teacher had been like him.”
