Followed by an activity where participants are challenged to paint a picture in the style of that artist. Could either be a copy of the given painting or another scene done in that painter’s style.

An engaging and insightful talk

The Club’s April Demo Night was a tremendous success! Richard gave an engaging and insightful talk on J.M.W. Turner, exploring his techniques and creative process. Everyone then had a fantastic time attempting to recreate one of Turner’s most famous paintings, The Fighting Temeraire. Judging by the photos, it was quite the challenge!
Many thanks to Richard for another fun and inspiring evening
